About Us
Gebo Promo was founded by Michelle Hartz during the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. She saw the way the graphic design and promotional products industry needed to improve to keep up with the changing times.
Michelle started her graphic design career in 1999 and joined her first print shop in 2007. She got the unique opportunity to enter the industry during a time of flux, when traditional offset printing was still prevalent, but digital printing was quickly rising. Being a very hands on person, she believes that the best way to design is to learn how the product is actually made. Among her variety of printing experience, she's run offset presses, made screens, and has become an expert in digital printing.
Gebo Promo aims to fill the gap in the way that graphic design and promotional products are handled. Projects are often designed with only one end-use in mind, to be used on a website, on a business card, or for a specific print job. Because we know the strengths and weaknesses of different print methods, we can create designs that keep those in mind.
Promotional products also don't get the attention they deserve, often just treated an add-on to print services. At Gebo Promo, we might get a little too excited about promotional products and "geek-out" a bit. We attend industry shows and seminars to keep up to date on the latest products, printing techniques, and technology. So we love showing off our newest finds! We use our knowledge to do the work for you, helping you choose the right item for your event and your logo.
Graphic design and promotional products are a natural fit together that's often ignored.
