No matter what holiday you celebrate, it's the season of giving.
Design Tip - High Resolution Photos

Creating a custom holiday card? No matter what you're printing, make sure your pictures are high resolution. Here are a few tips to make sure sure your pictures are clear and not fuzzy:
When taking pictures, DON'T use space saving modes.
Avoid zooming in. If you can, get closer to your subject.
Use the pictures direct from the file. Avoid using pictures that are texted or posted to social media.
Save files at 300 dpi or higher at the print size or larger.
Popular December Holidays

Christmas
An annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed primarily on December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world. Christmas is the most popular December holiday in the USA.
The Twelve Days of Christmas are 25 December to 5 January, counting first and last.

Hanukkah
A Jewish festival commemorating the recovery of Jerusalem and subsequent rededication of the Second Temple at the beginning of the Maccabean Revolt against the Seleucid Empire in the 2nd century BCE. Hanukkah is observed for eight nights and days, starting on the 25th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, which may occur at any time from late November to late December in the Gregorian calendar.

Winter Solstice
Sometimes called Midwinter, the winter solstice occurs when either the Earth's pole reaches its maximum tilt away from the Sun, the day with the shortest period of daylight and longest night of the year, and when the Sun is at its lowest daily maximum elevation in the sky.
Since prehistory, the winter solstice has been a significant time of year in many cultures and has been marked by festivals and rites.

Festivus
A secular holiday celebrated on December 23. Originally created by author Daniel O'Keefe, Festivus entered popular culture after it was made the focus of a Seinfeld episode.
The non-commercial holiday's celebration, as depicted on Seinfeld, includes a Festivus dinner, an unadorned aluminum Festivus pole, practices such as the "airing of grievances" and "feats of strength", and the labeling of easily explainable events as "Festivus miracles." The episode refers to it as "a Festivus for the rest of us."

Saturnalia
The most popular holiday on the ancient Roman calendar, derived from older farming-related rituals of midwinter and the winter solstice, especially the practice of offering gifts or sacrifices to the gods during the winter sowing season.
Before the end of the fourth century, many of the traditions of Saturnalia—including giving gifts, singing, lighting candles, feasting and merrymaking—had become absorbed by the traditions of Christmas as many of us know them today.

New Year's Eve
In the Gregorian calendar, New Year's Eve is the evening or the entire day of the last day of the year, 31 December. In many countries, New Year's Eve is celebrated with dancing, eating, drinking, and watching or lighting fireworks. Some Christians attend a watchnight service. The celebrations generally go on past midnight into New Year's Day, 1 January.
The Line Islands (part of Kiribati), Samoa and Tonga, in the Pacific Ocean, are the first places to welcome the New Year, while American Samoa, Baker Island and Howland Island (part of the United States Minor Outlying Islands) are among the last.
